Window tint

Frequently asked questions

Before Tint Application

What does tint do in the winter?

Window tint acts as an insulator keeping the heat in and the cold out.

My windows are already tinted

Old tint will need to be removed before installation of new window tint. It’s best to have us remove the tint because the rear defroster can be easily damaged. The process adds about two to four hours to the window tint installation process.

Should I clean my own windows before my appointment?

No. We have a very specific technique to prepping each window glass before we install any tint.

Should I drop off my car or wait?

The FAQ title can be adjusted in the settings tab of the App Settings. You can also remove the title by unchecking its checkbox in the settings tab.Your car should be dropped off for the day.

Do you need my car for the entire day?

No, we do not. From 45 mins to 3.5 hrs on average. First, your car is checked in. Each window is cleaned thoroughly inside and out. The tint is rough cut, heated and formed to the shape of the glass. Finally, it is trimmed and applied to the inside of the glass. Once all the work is done, the installer looks over the work to make sure there are no issues with the job. When all issues are fixed and completed, you are called and told your vehicle is ready. All this takes time and we don’t rush our work.
